PURE HEART

How to somehow portray the undamaged heart, the PURE Heart that will be Image No. 1 in the series? It has to be smooth, unblemished & glistening. Upon further reflection, I now believe that our pure heart is the essence of each human being who is originally conceived within the mind/heart of God, even before we are biologically conceived in the womb. In Jeremiah 1:5 GOD says “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart…”

Before the womb and bloody birth

Before the sights and sounds of earth

Not yet aware of strength or worth

Our Hearts Were PURE

Before desires and dreams arose

Before we learned to grasp and pose

Before our egos were exposed

Before the bruises and the pain

Before we bore the mark of Cain

My Heart Was PURE

I think that might be a song. The words just tumbled out while driving to work on the freeway. I’ve never written a song. I need a musician to provide the melody. I believe that’s called co-writing.
